VIPANAN has specialized expertise for Antiscalant efficacy testing, which help customers to understand the exact performance of their product.

Testing of antiscalant helps antiscalant manufacturar to define working frame of it. These methods are of two different types depending on test conditions. The test conditions may vary from Static to Dynamic.

Static Efficacy Testing:

The static methods includes the supersaturation of the different salts of minerals, which causes precipitation. The precipitation can be occured by creating supersaturation condition at undersaturated level of salts by changing pH. Static efficacy testing normally works on single complex like Calcium sulfate, Calcium carbonate, etc.

It gives us quite fair idea of antiscalant working. The static method is fastest and economical way to measure and monitor the efficacy testing. It is useful for large scale screening of precipitation of independent complexes as mentioned above. But it may vary from actual application.

Dynamic Efficacy Testing:

It is a close simulation of practical field operation with the help of synthetic water. The synthetic water can be design considering intra-relation of complexes which affect the antiscalant efficiency.

This technique is more complex having a variables of temperature, pH, Calcium, Magnesium, Sulphate, Silica etc. This variation and deviation of parameters generates the massive data which helps to conclude the antiscalant efficacy rightly.
